Julian Simpson (61) of Aylesford has passed away peacefully after an illness. He worked for over 30 years in the Agrochemical Industry in Yalding, first with ICI and then later with AstraZeneca and Syngenta as the company evolved. Julian was a keen bell ringer and taught several generations in the art of change-ringing, in particular at his home tower of East Malling. Following early retirement, Julian divided his time between Kent and Cornwall, where he had spent many holidays with his three sons - often visiting lifeboat stations to buy his RNLI Christmas cards. Julian leaves behind his sons Matthew, Allen and Ewan, and his grandson Jenson. Please fell free to post of any memories you may have of him.
